Over You
by Daughtry

Now that it's all said and done,
I can't believe you were the one
To build me up and tear me down,
Like an old abandoned house.
What you said when you left
Just left me cold and out of breath.
I fell too far, was in way too deep.
Guess I let you get the best of me.

Well, I never saw it coming.
I should've started running
A long, long time ago.
And I never thought I'd doubt you,
I'm better off without you
More than you, more than you know.
I'm slowly getting closure.
I guess it's really over.
I'm finally getting better.
And now I'm picking up the pieces.
I'm spending all of these years
Putting my heart back together.
'Cause the day I thought I'd never get through,
I got over you.

Huwag mo nang itanong sa akin
Di ko rin naman sasabihin
Huwag mo nang itanong sa akin
At di ko na iisipin

You took a hammer to these walls,
Dragged the memories down the hall,
Packed your bags and walked away.
There was nothing I could say.
And when you slammed the front door shut,
A lot of others opened up,
So did my eyes so I could see
That you never were the best for me.

Well, I never saw it coming.
I should've started running
A long, long time ago.
And I never thought I'd doubt you,
I'm better off without you
More than you, more than you know.
I'm slowly getting closure.
I guess it's really over.
I'm finally getting better.
And now I'm picking up the pieces.
I'm spending all of these years
Putting my heart back together.
Well I'm putting my heart back together,
'Cause I got over you.
Well I got over you.
I got over you.
'Cause the day I thought I'd never get through,

I got over you.

Rain

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Last night, sitting here on my sister's bed, chatting with a couple of friends, searching nice pictures on Google, it finally came. My oasis. It started to rain.

After weeks of suffering from heat, I heard the rain pouring on our roof. I love it. I love the rain. Many memorable things, (good and bad) happened to me while it was raining. I can't remember exactly all of the things that happened, but I remember how it made me feel.

I love how everything turns gray whenever it's raining. It's like everything mellows down and decides to blend in, leaving me to my thoughts to think about the more important things. Most people would say that a rainy day is gloomy. And that it's sad. But it doesn't make me sad at all. The rain is my break. My oasis.

I love that moment when it starts to rain, and everything turns from really hot to really cold. And you feel cold sweat trickling down my legs and everything becomes moist. I even love the sound of rain that seems to want to destroy the roof of my car. It's a good background music when I'm reading or listening to Wave.

I love the rain.

>> Unlike you, I actually hate the rain. Hehehe wala lang share ko lang.
For me it depicts sadness and loneliness.

Oist! Ako rin. I like it a lot when it rains, even if it means being marooned inside the house or in my room... basta I like the opportunity to catch up on my reading (and sleep and sex!) and do some really deep thinking on a lot of things. ;-)
